Julie Neumark

Hi friends/family/fans! Happy Holidays! For a time of the year that typically "slows down", I feel like it is all speeding up...there is so much to tell!

First, check out the calendar for a couple of dates in LA (Jan / Feb) and then back to the Southwest, my home away from home! I have teamed up once again with LUIS OLIART and together we have formed a little trio which includes surprise multi-instrumentalist and partner o'mine, Holly Lucille. We are just cookin' with new songs, new arrangements, new instrumentation and a lot of laughs and good times in the process!

I have been busy in the studio, or rather several studios :) I am in the process of recording 2 of my new songs with 2 different producers (both of whom are brilliant) to "test drive" who might be the best fit for the new album....that's right!! Come Hell or high water, I will put out a new album in 2012! I am excited to continue to work with Lonesome Day Records on this next one which promises more songs from the heart and a slightly different direction musically...

I have also been writing with 2 different songwriting teams for song placement in film/televsion. I will keep you posted....some stuff is getting really close.... ;)

After some great tours, really fun times and toe-tapping good music, Julie Neumark & The Highlifes are calling it quits. Thank you all so much for your incredible support at our shows and online!
